I want to share my concerns about infant vaccinations.

Although I totally agree with my doctor about the importance of the vaccinations, I also see it from another angle.

I guess the medical personnel wants to ensure that the society as a whole benefits from these vaccination schedules, by preventing the spread of certain mild or not so mild diseases.

As a mom, I see the situation completely different. I mostly, if not only, care about the wellness of my child. I recently came across a study related to Alzheimer's disease, in which it was stated that the constant thing they saw was a higher than normal concentration of aluminum in the brains of those affected. I than started to read more and I learned that there is aluminum in the vaccines given to infants, and that there's growing fear that the levels are far above what's considered safe.

And so I started reading more about aluminum, and I learned it's a NEUROTOXIN and it's a naturally occurring element, present everywhere. When swallowed, is harmless, as less than 1% is absorbed by our bodies. When injected, it's another story. Not only the whole amount enters in the blood stream, but it takes at least 24 hours for half of that to be excreted, and it's never completely gone from the body. In tiny amounts, it keeps building up all throughout life.

With that in mind, remember that mercury was completely removed from the infant vaccines out of fear of autism. Still, the number of children affected by autism didn't drop to this day. It's still a whooping 1 in 105. Maybe the reason is that mercury was actually exchanged for aluminum, which is now blamed for brain disorders when found in higher than usual concentration in the body.

Because my son's appointment for the second round of immunizations was coming up, I started to look for alternatives to the usual vaccinations schedule. I was wishing that I could somehow prevent him from being injected with too much aluminum all at once. My idea was to wait until the body will naturally dispose of as much of the aluminum as possible.

My son's doctor didn't like my arguments, but she agreed to only give him half the shots this time and to schedule the others for a month down the line. I hope I did the right thing for him.

There is also a book by Dr. Sears which explains the controversy much better than I do. The name of the book is "The Vaccine Book".
